You must understand that there is a difference between real socialism and Leninist Stalinist communism. The ideology of the preview is the same for all. He had a couple of dictators and the "equal" (ie rich).

A genuine socialist environment is a make, where nobody cares where they from food, health care, where were the police are corrupt, etc. .. came

And socialism does not mean that someone had restricted freedoms. Why should it? This is an aspect of totalitarianism, not socialism.

Bu this is not the wish of the ruling elite individual, not the path of democracy, then there must be exactly like the USSR or Eastern Europe.

Like most liberals have arrived in the 1960s linked to drugs, womanizing, fast losing freedom of movement with the early love, it means they want to fight the people in power.

While most Republicans want people to self with energy.

Well, not the Soviet Union and Eastern European socialism. They fought for communism, which is so different from the socialism and socialism different from capitalism. Never reached a pure communist state, which was closer to a totalitarian installation.

That this can elements of socialism, capitalism and communism throughout government. For example, is a democracy, a socialist institution. The regulation of utility prices is an element of communism and the free exchange market in this country.

So stop being stupid exclamation point on the nature of governments. At least research what they are in first place.

Socialism is an economic system as capitalism, not a form of government.

And there are socialist countries, a great success, especially in Scandinavia, where they beat the U.S. in almost every conceivable indicators: education, personal income, unemployment, old age, life, health, etc. You can have a socialist democracy, such as the Scandinavian countries, and seems to work well. Thanks for asking.

Neither capitalism nor socialism in its pure form. Both are "ideal" systems is not realistic. All-functioning democracy (or republic) is somewhere on a line between pure socialism and pure capitalism. We, the United States probably have the right to the next pure capitalism, but we have socialized police and fire departments, public schools, public libraries, roads, water supply and sewerage and garbage collection, etc., etc.

Ideally, I think that benefit of capitalism is the free market is a better solution. But there are some things we need that can not deliver the free market. When police and fire departments. So the "socialization" of tasks and the people she had ever paid for the amount that they are doing and have access, regardless of ability to pay.

The Soviet Union was "socialist" (well, communism is a form of socialism), but it was undemocratic. Before the revolution was not democratic. Since China and Cuba, where revolutions only replace one tyranny with another. But there are countries with long democratic traditions, which are much more socialist than we are and a better standard of living, crime, less unemployment, fewer divorces, fewer teenage pregnancies, fewer drugs, etc. etc. have is obvious that socialism is they work! In our life in the United States, which rose to a level of life. 15. All countries have overtaken us are closer to the left side of the spectrum.
